Sam's first beach trip!

Sam and I got back from a two week vacation to Austin and Port Aransas, TX. Luckily Clint was able to come and spend 10 days with us in Port A too!!! Sam had so much fun and now it's baby boot camp to get him back on his schedule now that we are home. Here are some of our fun times!

Sam had a staring contest with a new person everywhere we went. Here is his contest with Uncle Kyle when he showed up! Sam won - Kyle laughed :)

There is an awesome store in Port A called "Gratitude." The lady who works there is so nice and eclectic. She has bright blonde and pink hair, wears a tattoo sleeve, and awesome glasses. Everyone just loves her. Here is Sam's staring contest with the Gratitude lady.

Eating Solids

Sam has started eating rice cereal. We go back to the pediatrician for his 6 month check up tomorrow. Then he will start being able to try some more new foods! Here are some pictures from the first few times we gave him his cereal.

Sam's Buddies

Here is Sam with his buddies Hudson, Landon, and Luke. These are the boys of my two teacher friends Erin and Amy. Hudson and Landon are Erin's two--year-old twin boys. Amy and I had our boys six weeks apart! We always had fun at our play dates! It was so funny trying to get all the boys situated on the couch for this picture :)

A Visit from Stella

My best friend and goddaughter, Kristen and Stella, came to visit us last weekend. We had a lot of fun! Stella is 5 weeks older than Sam and is crawling and using tables to help her stand up!

Happy 4th of July!

Sam had his first 4th of July last week. Since he goes to be so early, we didn't get to see the Frisco fireworks show, but we still got a great show from other places that Clint and I could see in our backyard!

His onesie says, "Mommy's lil sparkler!" Haha!

A few things...

A Little Housework

I am so excited! In the past week, we have gotten two things that I have wanted since moving into our house five years ago: solar screens and hardwood floors! Yippee!! Here are some before and after pictures.

After 1:00 pm we had to close all the blinds until 7 or so because it was so hot in the living room and kitchen. It is at least 5-10 degrees cooler in now during the afternoon/early evening (with the blinds OPEN!)! So awesome!
