Sam by Sam

Sam got his caricature done at a festival a few weeks ago. The artist's name was also Sam, so it is titled, "Sam by Sam."  haha!  It was fun!  He asked us what kinds of things Sam liked and we said zebras or anything that has to do with the beach.  After trying to draw a seagull for about 5 minutes, Sam, the artist, gave up and just drew a sun in the background.  hmmm... ok :)  There is a sun at the beach.

5 Months & 5 Years

On June 1, Clint and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary at Papas Bros. Steakhouse.  Delicious!  We were so thankful to have built-in babysitters so we could enjoy a night out together.  Thanks, Grammy and Pops!  Clint and I have been together for 12 wonderful years!

On June 6, Sam celebrated his 5 month birthday!  Here are his 5 month pictures.  He is starting to sit up by himself (almost), so he kept falling over.  I had to lay him more flat in order to get his picture :)

The Culp Crew continues...

Last week Clint's sister, Sherri, and her fiance, Dan, came to visit Sam.  They live in Arizona and drove the whole way here!  We had a great time, and Sam loved playing with Aunt ShoooShooo & Uncle Dan!  The time went by way too fast, but we got to do a lot of fun things while they were here: WinStar World Casino, dinner at Tupy's, Flip Flop Heaven, The JFK Memorial Museum tour, drive around the lake behind our house, and much more!  We miss y'all already!

I found my feet!

Sam has recently found his feet.  He can't get enough of them :)

These are a few of Sam's favorite things...

Sam loves two things right now: a kids TV show called "Super Why" and watching the dogs.

Here is him watching "Super Why."  He talks to the characters and absolutely loves the main character, Wyatt, and Princess Pea.  It's hysterical how excited he gets when we put him down to watch it!

It's Festival Time!

I love going to festivals!  We went to Pecan Street Festival in Austin at the beginning of May.  It was hot, but it was so much fun!

Sam also had his 4 month doctor appoint that went great! Clint and I had to work, so his Grandma got to take him.  Suckah!  He had to get another round of shots :( but he did so well, and the pediatrician said he is doing amazing!

We need one that says, "My GMA Rocks!"

Tummy time!  I love his hair do.  He is bald except for that small line of hair at the base of his neck.  Makes him look like an old man.
